TrustLens Privacy Policy & Support
TrustLens helps users analyze QR links and URLs for risk indicators such as suspicious patterns, redirects, or unusual domains. TrustLens is designed to reduce risk, not to guarantee total protection.
Privacy Policy
On-device analysis: TrustLens analyzes scanned and shared links on your device. Scanned URLs are not uploaded to our servers.
What We Process
- URLs you scan, paste, or share to the app/extension (processed locally).
- Optional history entries that you choose to save.
- Optional trusted-domain whitelist entries that you add.
What We Store
- Saved analysis history (local storage/App Group container).
- App preferences (for example, ad settings).
- Trusted domains you add to your whitelist.
What We Do Not Upload
- Scanned URLs and detailed analysis results are not sent to our servers.
Ads and Tracking
TrustLens may show ads in the main app. The Share Extension does not show ads. Non-personalized ads are used by default.
Personalized ads are optional. If you enable personalized ads, the app may request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission. If permission is denied, non-personalized ads remain active.
Ad delivery is provided by third-party advertising services (such as Google AdMob), which may process device identifiers, diagnostics, and ad interaction data under their own policies.
Your Controls
- You can disable personalized ads in Settings.
- You can delete saved history entries from the app.
- You can remove trusted domains from your whitelist at any time.
Security
We apply reasonable technical safeguards for local data handling. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed as perfectly secure.
Children
TrustLens is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
